Date for the Diary: AGM 10th May!
Yes it’s that time of year again!
On 10th May the Ashover Light Railway Society will hold its 2nd Annual General Meeting. A chance not just to find out what the Society’s plans are, but also to meet and greet members, maybe even make some new friends!
After last year in the meeting room above the Old Poets Corner we have moved this years to the Fabric room of Ashover Parish Hall. A 2pm start is hoped for,
with the meeting being informative, enlightening and not too drab and
dreary!!
We are collating items of various railwayana that will, like last
year be auctioned off, money going towards the Society’s ongoing work with
the Where the Rainbow Ends Cafe, and other such notable causes. The list
will again be open to non-members to submit a bid via post and will be
listed online very soon.
The committe aim to have the meeting closed by 5.30pm, with time afterwards to socialise with members and committee alike.
