Where to meet us this summer

Wednesday, July 31st, 2019

1. Cromford Steam Rally (cromfordsteamrally.co.uk) on August 3rd & 4th open 8.30 Sat and 8.00 Sun. Please note that this event takes place near Tansley rather than Cromford!

2. Peak Rail Steam and Diesel Gala on August 10th & 11th. We will have our Rowsley site open, and hopefully be running as well.

3. Ashover Show. August 14th. Always a popular event whatever the weather. As the “local” show for the railway we usually have a good turnout.

4. Woolley Moor Show. August 17th. Another local, well attended and popular show.

Recent progress of the ALRS

Tuesday, May 7th, 2019

Regular followers will have noticed th.ere has been a recent absence of news and photographs….. this is deliberate as we have some very ixciting news (and photos) to share, and want to share it with our supporters before the general public.

This is an unashamed plug for the society’s AGM on May 11th.

Hope to see as many of you there as possible.
